The taste of ginger and honey together are like those idealized couples that one reads in books or sees in the cinema where everything is beautiful and perfect.
If you add to this sweet and aromatic pair a touch of something strong and salty (like soy sauce), the culinary fairy tale becomes Best Seller.
Now you just need some good pieces chicken and a kiln that works well.
Baked chicken thighs with ginger and honey
Ingredients:
- 2 whole chicken thighs, with skin
- 1 piece of ginger about 5 centimeters chopped very small
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt
- Vegetable oil
Prepa ration:
Thoroughly clean the thighs, remove excess fat and blood. Leave the skin.
With a sharp knife, make cross cuts to the pieces of chicken, about 5 or 6. Cut deep, until the knife touches the bone (see the photo below for reference).
Place the chicken on a greased tray and marinate it with all the ingredients: salt, soy sauce, honey and ginger.
The trick to make this recipe even more delicious is that you will grab the chopped ginger very small and you will introduce it inside the skin and in the deep cuts that you did previously to the chicken thighs.
Massage the meat a bit so that it is well impregnated with the ingredients and let sit for 15 minutes.
After this time put the tray with the chicken thighs in the oven, previously preheated to about 300 degrees.
Cook for about 20 minutes, turn the pieces, cook 10 minutes more and return to Oltearlas and ends with an extra 5 minutes to brown over.
After this time (about 35 minutes in total) your chicken legs baked with ginger and honey should be ready.
If you see that they lack some cooking (not all kitchens handle the same time), return them to the oven for an extra few minutes.
Serve hot, and eat it with your hands. Enjoy sucking sweet/fatty fingers without any remorse.
